Our Story
Matt Walker started RKP Landscaping five years ago, but the company’s Colorado roots go back decades. Matt grew up in Fort Collins and launched his first landscaping company at just 17 years old. With the help of his dad and younger brothers, he expanded that business before eventually selling it to his brother and moving to San Diego.
Over the years, Matt worked for other landscaping companies and saw firsthand how poor communication and corner-cutting left customers and crews frustrated. Matt started RKP Landscaping to do things differently – to build exceptional quality landscaping without sacrificing customer service or company culture.
Two states and many successful businesses later – including 5280 Colorado Co – Matt continues to run RKP Landscaping with the same values he started with at 17-years-old: honesty, transparency, and quality craftsmanship.
